2021 Earth Day Clean-up

We were delighted to be the brunch sponsor for the 2021 Earth Day Clean-up in the Cayman Islands.

The event took place in conjunction with the Chamber's Cayman CLEAN project. The event formed part of the Chamber's anti-litter campaign, and all proceeds will support the ongoing initiatives of the Cayman CLEAN project.

The event took place on Saturday, 24 April. Participating groups conducted island-wide clean-ups from 7 am to 10 am, including snorkel-and-clean activities, roadside beautification, as well as bulk waste removal. The morning events we're followed by a Volunteers Brunch Social at a selected beach-side restaurant, which provided a great opportunity to network and learn more about the cause.

For over 20 years, the Chamber has been arranging annual Earth Day clean-ups to improve the state of Cayman's beaches and public areas. With our Cayman CLEAN Campaign, we hope to encourage our members and the greater community to adopt a more environmentally friendly lifestyle and inspire ongoing involvement in environmental causes. The 2021 Earth Day Clean-up is just one of several Cayman CLEAN initiatives.
