STEP Arabia Conference 2022

Janine Cubbon, Head of Private Wealth in the Isle of Man, and Leonie Cannan, Trust Manager, are attending the 2022 STEP Arabia Conference at the ADGM in the United Arab Emirates from 6 - 7 November.

With the pace of implementation of UAE foundations growing at an exponential rate, this year, STEP Arabia will take a look at the broader GCC to see what is happening in Saudi Arabia and in Bahrain.

They will also consider regional cryptos, as well as a UAE structuring and tax update.

In the wake of the high profile inheritance dispute regarding the late Majid Al Futtaim, STEP Arabia has a family governance panel to see what lessons can be learned to avoid some of the issues for the heads of other GCC families.
