About the Role

Working alongside other like minded professionals you will be allocated responsibility for one or more jurisdictions and have responsibility over all of the subsidiaries in that jurisdiction.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
  • Provide input into Group financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities
  • Manage cash flow, including the monitoring of cash balances and forecasts
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and the boards of directors
  • Partner with jurisdictional management teams to ensure their understanding of the financial matters and smooth financial operations
  • Support other group functions with the provision of financial information 
  • Support strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management practices

About You

Skills and Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; ACCA or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial control/audit  
  • Experience in fiduciary and fund services, financial services, or a related industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
