Latoya joined the Group in 2022 and has over 20 years of experience in the fund administration industry. She has extensive knowledge of mutual funds, including a diverse range of product types and fund structures and is a licensed CPA.
She has significant knowledge of the preparation and review of financial statements reporting under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) framework as well as exposure to the legal and regulatory framework of diverse fund structures and compliance requirements of the Cayman Islands regulator (CIMA). She holds a BSc in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
She specialises in institutional client services and gained experience through reputable asset management companies such as JTC Group, Julius Baer Trust Company Limited and Swiss & Global Fund Administration (Cayman) Ltd. In her current role, she provides full oversight of the day-to-day functions and activities for the Funds Department in the Cayman Islands, managing special projects and partnering with functional partners to ensure regulatory, operational, and business risks requirements are met.
