Alexander Noel has been shortlisted in the “Young Director of the Year” category for the Institute of Directors 2022 Jersey Director of the Year Awards.
Alexander, who joined Suntera Global as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions in 2020, is a Chartered Accountant with ten years of financial services industry experience. His previous roles have included working as an investment manager at a UK-focused private equity fund, and as part of the financial services M&A team at one the Big 4 professional services firms in London.
As Director of Mergers and Acquisitions, Alexander is responsible for driving Suntera’s ambitious inorganic growth strategy through the identification and transactional execution of potential acquisition opportunities.
The Jersey Director of the Year Awards are designed to recognise directors who are helping to lead their teams through the current difficult economic climate, and to also celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion, sustainability, and young directors.
The shortlisted candidates were selected by judges Kevin Keen, Heather MacCallum, Dan Hare, Helen Hatton, Kate Wright, Kate Nutt, and Chris Ambler. Winners in each of the ten Award categories will be announced at a black-tie ceremony on 24th November.
Commenting on Alexander’s recognition on the shortlist, David Hudson, Group CEO of Suntera Global, said:
“Alex brings a high level of expertise to his role and approaches his work with a firm commitment to providing the highest quality professional service. He is an impressive leader, responsible for driving our inorganic growth strategy, which has seen us strengthen our offering considerably in recent months through a number of acquisitions in the Channel Islands, Europe, and the US.
“Alex’s work exemplifies Suntera Global’s motto of ‘empowering responsible ambition’, and he is thoroughly deserving of this recognition.”
