Suntera Global Assistant Manager, Jake Kelly, has been presented with a Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Isle of Man award for achieving the highest marks in the Isle of Man in a STEP certified qualification for the third year running.
Jake was presented with the award at STEP Isle of Man’s AGM in December for his top score in the STEP Diploma – International Trust Management Pathway – exam. He also received prize money that was then donated to his local charity of choice, the Isle of Man Youth Cycling League, where he trained up until the age of 16 before becoming a professional road and track cyclist.
The award is a consecutive win for Jake, who was also recognised for receiving the top mark on the island for the STEP Certificate in International Trust Management in 2021 and the STEP Company Law and Practice Advanced Certificate in 2022.
Jake, who has now completed all certificates in the STEP course, said:
“I am grateful to have the opportunity from STEP to make a donation to a charity of my choice. I chose the IOM Youth Cycling League as my charity, to help support the up-and-coming cycling talent and to give back to the team who gave me great opportunities growing up.”
Janine Cubbon, Director of Trust and Private Wealth at Suntera Global in the Isle of Man, commented:
“We continue to be very proud of everything that Jake is accomplishing. Recognition - for the third time - of earning such a high mark in his most recent STEP exam is just one of his many achievements. Jake continues to be an exemplary member of the team here at Suntera. We’re honoured to support his professional development and delighted to nurture a team in which Jake and others can continue to flourish and make valued contributions.”
STEP is the international body for advisers who specialise in inheritance and succession planning.
