Suntera Global’s digital division is providing a suite of services to support the launch of Reality Company in the jurisdiction
Suntera Digital has provided a suite of services to support the establishment of a global blockchain-based tech start-up in the Isle of Man which aims to revolutionise the digital funding and investment space.
Suntera’s specialist fintech and crypto asset services division has provided a range of structuring and support services to Reality Holdings Limited (operating under the brand name, Reality Company), including registration under the Designated Business Act with the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (FSA), to establish and ultimately launch the business.
With a vision to create the world's first digital decentralized blockchain-based stock exchange, Reality Company aims to revolutionise access to support and funding for entrepreneurs to build and scale their businesses, enable digital ownership, make it easier to list companies globally, and open up investing to a broader audience.
The foundation of this entrepreneurial ecosystem and investment platform is Reality Company’s innovative ERC-20 tokens, called Reality Coins (RLTs), which are backed by real-world investments and companies. Reality Company’s Initial Coin Offering (ICO) is currently available for purchase at £1.10 a token, to sophisticated investors in several jurisdictions.
Reality Company has also participated in the Isle of Man’s Digital Accelerator Programme – a scheme designed to support blockchain businesses with their growth and accelerate their regulatory journey.
Lorna Richards, Managing Director of Suntera Digital, said:
“Setting up and growing a fintech business can be hugely complex and our focus is on supporting those businesses by balancing responsible business practices with a shared ambition for a more technologically empowered world. With that in mind, we’ve been delighted to have supported Reality Company in its journey so far. It’s an exciting venture in the blockchain space with a team that really understands the importance of governance, compliance and integrity. It’s a great example of the kind of fintech business the Isle of Man aims to provide a platform for.”
Edward Cotterell, CEO and Founder of Reality Company, added:
“Our aim is for the Reality Block Exchange to be a platform to launch, grow and establish businesses whilst minimising barriers to entry and their associated costs – a safe zone that makes investing into global businesses easy. We’ve been really impressed with the support and understanding we’ve received from the Isle of Man in realising that aim. The wealth of knowledge in the Isle of Man’s regulatory, professional, and commercial sphere is fantastic, and there is a practical, proactive and progressive approach to doing business which has been refreshing.”
