Suntera Global has partnered up with Hospice Isle of Man to support The Big Splash art trail with Wild in Art in 2022. Suntera Global will sponsor not only a large dolphin sculpture, but will also sponsor The Big Splash app that will go live in May when the sculptures are placed around the Island.
The Big Splash is the largest mass participation art event to ever come to the Isle of Man and will see a trail of over 30 life-size dolphins take centre stage on a public art trail live around the Island for 12 weeks from May - September 2022.
Suntera Global are thrilled to be involved in an initiative which helps raise valuable funds for the well-deserving charity.
Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of the Isle of Man office at Suntera Global, Mark Reynolds said: "We are excited to support this new Wild in Art trail. Suntera Global are proud supporters of local ambitions and causes and the work that Hospice do is invaluable. Most people will be affected by this charity at some point in their lives and we are once again humbled and honoured to be able to continue to support them in their vital work.
We are very much looking forward to taking part in this trail after the huge success of the Wallabies Gone Wild trail in 2019. We were very lucky to be able to buy 'Joey' the Wallaby during the last auction and he now takes pride of place in our reception.
It was a very difficult decision choosing this year's Big Splash dolphin due to the outstanding talent of the artists and we can't wait to see the dolphin sculptures come to life and form part of the trail this coming summer."
Chief Executive of Hospice Isle of Man, Anne Mills said: "We are incredibly grateful to Suntera Global for their generosity and having them on board with The Big Splash will certainly make a significant difference to the trail.
We hope that many families will enjoy completing the trail by using the app over the summer to find our beautifully designed dolphin sculptures, and combined with the support from Suntera Global and all of the team there, I am certain the app will be a huge hit."
More than 30 individually designed 'life-sized' dolphin sculptures along with over 40 baby dolphins (calves) will form a trail of discovery across the Island this spring, encouraging residents and visitors alike to explore our environment from an exciting new perspective - whilst promoting our Biosphere, wellbeing and active lifestyles.
Each of these sculptures will be sponsored by local businesses who will benefit from an exciting range of PR and media opportunities prior to and throughout the trail itself. The Big Splash project has over 30 schools from across the Island working with our Education team on the environment and will each help to design one of the baby dolphins which will form part of the trail.
