Suntera Senior Trust Officer, Jake Kelly, has been presented with a Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Isle of Man award for achieving the highest marks in a STEP-certified qualification for the second year.
Jake was presented with the award at STEP Isle of Man’s AGM in December for his top score in the Company Law and Practice Advanced Certificate. He also received £250 in prize money, which he donated to his local charity of choice, the Isle of Man Youth Cycling Team.
The award is a consecutive win for Jake, who was also recognised for receiving the top mark on the island for the STEP Certificate in International Trust Management in 2021.
Jake said: “I am very pleased to have won this award for 2022, and I’m grateful to my colleagues at Suntera Global for their support during my studies. I’m also really happy that my hard work is going to help support the Isle of Man Youth Cycling Team.
The Youth Cycling Team is a charity I’m really passionate about and I selected them as my chosen charity to give back to Dot Tilbury and the team who gave me great opportunities to succeed in my cycling career before I joined Suntera.”
Anne Baggesen, Managing Director of Private Wealth at Suntera Global, commented: “We are incredibly proud of Jake who has, once again, shown an impressive level of dedication to his studies while also being a diligent and inspiring member of the team.
Suntera is committed to creating an encouraging environment in which our staff can grow and hone their skills, and we are delighted to be able to support Jake on his professional journey.”
