Sara has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry. She joined Carey in 2014, which was acquired by Suntera Global in 2023.
As well as leading the governance risk and compliance teams, Sara’s role as Deputy Managing Director of the business includes developing and driving the strategy alongside leading the culture of the business.
Sara’s enjoys the breadth of her role which sees her involved in all aspects of the business, specifically Sara’s role encompasses her working to develop and promote a strong but commercial compliance and risk culture within Suntera to meet current and developing regulations and to promote and implement governance excellence.
Sara brings her wide knowledge and practical experience in corporate governance and the management of commercial risk to her work.
Sara is a Fellow of both the Chartered Governance Institute (FCG) and the International Compliance Association (FICA). She holds an MSc in corporate governance, a post-graduate diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance, and a diploma in ESG.
